Current Leadership

James K. Mulbah

President

James K. Mulbah is a 2014 Mandela Washington Fellow who also served on the Regional Advisory Board of West Africa of the Mandela Washington Fellowship. He served as a member of the United States Ambassador to Liberia (Deborah R. Malac) Council of Youth Advisors. James is a 2015 Tony Elumelu Fellow, and a 2016 Richard Branson Scholar. James Mulbah is the CEO of Green Cities Inc. and funder of Agro-Green Liberia and Computer for Schools Liberia.

Facia B. Harris

Vice President

Facia B. Harris is an African Feminist and Humanist. She is a public servant currently working as Director for Outreach and Sensitization at the Independent Information Commission in Liberia. She is a Journalist and a Law school student

Roland S. Kamara

Secretary General

Roland S. Kamara is a development professional, an educator and social reformer . He is the founder and executive Director of the Atlantic Vocational Training Institute.

Abraham B. Sillah

Assistant Secretary General

Abrahim Boimah Sillah is a youth and student advocate and a 2018 Global Peace International Ambassador for robustly campaigning for women and girls Rights in Liberia and Africa at large. He is the founder and Executive Director for Youth Action Network International, nonprofitable and non-governmental organization based in Liberia.

Amos M. Lavalah

Financial Secretary

Amos Mulbah Lavalah participated as " an Entrepreneur" International Visitor Leadership ( IVLP) in 2013. He ran for Representative in District# 3 Montserrado in 2017 presidential election. Presently he is the Financial Secretary of State Exchange Alumni of Liberia.

Miatta B. Tarpeh

Treasurer

Miatta B. Tarpeh is the founder and Executive Director of LEEMAH an organization which focuses on advocating and empowering girls who are sex workers across Liberia (Kakata, Monrovia and other Counties) to build their lives. Miatta is a 2017 Alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program USA and a 2015 Graduate of the kanthari Institute in Kerala India.

What We Do

Mentorship

We support young people in training and practice, and advocate for quality care for women. We provide professional careers and identify mentors who helped them along the way.

Youth Entrepreneurship Development

We are passionate about encouraging and preparing youth to position themselves to become inventors, business owners, and leaders in Liberia and the global society.

Advocacy

Our advocacy to end violence against women is closely linked with the elimination of discrimination, which in turn, is necessary to achieve full equality between men and women.

Leadership Development

Leadership development begins with the mind. At SEAL we work with leaders to help create truly human leadership and people-center organizations to ultimately deliver extraordinary results.

Volunteerism

One of the better-known benefits of our volunteering services is the impact on our community. The unpaid volunteering services we provide are often the glue that holds our community together.

Innovation

Our creativity and innovation aim to empower young people with pragmatic tools and techniques to enhance creative thinking and innovation in their organizations and communities to obtain superior results.

State Exchange Programs

The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is the flagship program of the U.S. Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). Since 2014, nearly 4,400 young leaders from every country in Sub-Saharan Africa have participated in the Fellowship.

Teach For Liberia Fellowship Applications Open

Teach for Liberia addresses the educational crisis in Liberia by recruiting passionate college graduates and professionals up to 40 years old and providing them with tailored, high-quality training for placement in rural and urban primary schools for two years. Fellows gain professional training and support while they expand opportunities for students in the highest-need schools.

SEAL Donates Sanitary Materials to Central Prison

In an efforts to create a conducive sanitary environment at the Monrovia Central Prison, the State Exchange Alumni of Liberia (SEAL) has donated several sanitary items to the Central Prison. The items include nose masks, hand sanitizers, tissue and hundred bags of mineral water.
